Tight spaces, heavy equipment, and a prevalence of occupational hazards create the perfect conditions to where accidents are bound to happen.
According to the National Safety Council, the average work related injury costs an employer over $188,000 in direct and indirect costs. Accidents like those featured in the video above, although rare, can be much more expensive.
Even though warehouse accidents are not completely preventable, there are steps that warehouse operators can take to greatly reduce their chances of occuring.
