If you've perused through our team page lately, you have likely picked up on the fact that a LOT of our employees are Ball State alumnus.  That's why today, Michelle and I are posted up to a table at the Ball State University Career Fair looking for the next round of fantastic Storage Solutions employees.  (See photo below.  We apologize for the nerdiness. After a bit of a hiatus, WE ARE BACK.  We like Georgia for a lot of reasons, peaches included.  But it's especially great because that's where you can find our next Project Spotlight.  This time, we're focusing on... ATLANTA.

If you've ever seen the video above, then you know that a warehouse can be dangerous place. Every year, approximately 100 employees are killed in warehouse forkilift-related incidents, and many more hundred are injured.

I know it’s been a while since my last rookie blog post but we’ve been so busy here at Storage Solutions preparing for the New Year and it’s great! So to close out 2011 I wanted to blog about one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced over the past few months: how to effectively manage adversity. (Curveballs, if you will)    

As I reflect on the results of this year, the request for a blog submission from our marketing department was timely.   While evaluating the accomplishments of 2011 and establishing new goals for the upcoming year – I am challenged to figure out what has attributed to our success, what lessons were learned, and how to best position ourselves moving forward.
